The Clinic comprises the ground floor of a beautiful period building with modern facilities set within landscaped grounds. We are located in the leafy district of Nether Edge, a mile south west of Sheffield city centre. Patients are always impressed with the high standard of our internal décor and the environment into which they are welcomed. Our building has been extensively refurbished in the summer of 2008 to provide a spacious, modern and well equipped interior.
We have a highly skilled team of therapists who are able to work independently or where appropriate cross refer to maximise continuity of care. We offer a service to support that of your general practitioner or hospital consultant and our background is in the field of conventional medicine and evidence based practice.
Car Parking
We have easy street parking at the front of the building and a private car park at the rear with level access. For those using public transport we are on the No. 22 bus route and we also have an extensive cycle rack to chain bikes.
Disabled Access and Facilities
The Clinic has an extra wide entrance and internal doorways suitable for wheelchair users, plus disabled toilet facilities, ramped access, x3 disabled car parking spaces and all ground floor treatment rooms.
Reception
You are welcomed into the clinic by the receptionist who will take and check any details. We have a combined reception / waiting area with chilled water and reading material. Our dedicated team of receptionists work under the supervision of a Reception Manager; we also have a Practice Manager who ensures the efficient day to day running of the Clinic. Most appointments, enquiries, payments and administration are taken care of by the receptionist. We deal with major health insurers and Westfield and most therapists can take payment via credit / debit cards, cash or cheque.
Clinic Rooms
We operate a number of spacious, well equipped, comfortably furnished and newly decorated treatment rooms, all ground floor with level access. They are large enough to contain all the equipment and floor / wall space our therapists need to carry out effective treatments and you will be treated in the appropriate space depending on your therapy needs. Some rooms have hand wash basins. All have treatment couches and lounge areas plus an office corner for administration and notes.
Opening Hours
The Clinic is open 9a.m. to 8p.m. Monday to Thursday. 9a.m. – 5p.m. Friday. 9a.m. – 1p.m Saturday. Reception is staffed at all the times the Clinic is open.
Appointments
An appointment can be made in person, by phone or via email. On occasion your health insurer may make an appointment on your behalf. We operate a computerised practice management system which automates invoicing and receipts and enables us to keep an accurate and accessible record of your attendances. We also have the facility for notes and patient information to be stored electronically. This enables us to give you the appropriate information readily, reliably and easily.
